This one made from cutter and did some fine touch and cover with clear nail polish, because of its shining like this. I tried clear vanish but some time it discolor the beads so I'm stop using that and start to use clear nail polish that's give fine finish and Less price compare to clear vanish.

This one also waiting to assemble the jewel on Sunday.

I did this rose beads for my class project, waiting to assemble the jewel on Sunday. This is a first time i made the roses in the clay. . . other than this i made some icing roses twice before, here i can see some are the roses are not perfect but this is a good starting :-)

Dinner @ Pizza Hut

Last week we went to pizza hut for dinner with my sister’s friend . . . actually we gave dinner for them. . We had some special offer vouchers, if u buy 01 pasta and get I small pan pizza free . . . so we order pasta so we can get the small pan pizza free. . . .
they serve the pizza very quickly and we wait for nearly 1 hour to get the pasta. . . :-(

We are walk in I saw this dog sleeping outside of the pizza hut.. When we are come out from also he is still there, When we call him doggie. . . doggie……. he open his eyes very lazily and look at us like why you human are disturbing me while I’m sleeping , and again went back to sleep . . . .

I took trail and road transport theme . . . and its little hard to find small vehicles , trees I took it from my xmas tree branches and handmade signal lights, finding sand is harder than finding toy vehicles. . . close to my place no sand to find finally I took sand from my office garden :-)

Presentation method.

• First introduce the transportation

• talk about the rules, and signals, vehicles

• From the talking teacher should get the idea what child’s knows about transport.

• Then teach the new things to child …

• after he knows about the transport , ask the child to tag the names what talk about before

Thai Pongal - Harvest Festival

Thai Pongal (தைப்பொங்கல்) is a harvest festival event celebrated by Tamils across the world. Pongal in Tamil means "boiling over or spill over." The act of boiling over of milk in the clay pot is considered to denote future wishes for the family.

Thai Pongal celebrated at harvest time, it's a celebration of the prosperity associated with the harvest by thanking the sun god, rain and the farm animals that have helped in the harvest. In villages, new clothes are worn and people owning cows find this festival more important.

The saying "Thai Pirandhal Vazhi Pirakkum" (தை பிறந்தால் வழி பிறக்கும்) meaning "the birth of the month of Thai will pave the way for new opportunities" is often quoted regarding the Pongal festival. Usually, the festival takes place January 14 . On the day Wearing new clothes, decorative kolams, sugar canes, preparation of sweet pongal with rice, milk and jaggery in new earthen pots and offer to Sun God, marks this festival. Kite flying could be seen on this day.

The moment the rice boils over and bubbles out of the vessel, the tradition is to shout of "Ponggalo Ponggal!", a custom practiced during the festival to announce it was going to be a year blessed with good tidings. For Tamils, it is considered a good sign to watch it boil over, since it means that good luck and prosperity is forthcoming. Then New boiled rice is offered to the sun god during sunrise, a gesture which symbolises thanks to the sun and nature for providing prosperity. Even while serving the Pongal for crows (in terrace or roof tops) after finishing the pujas and Nivedyam to God, Tamil Hindus shout Pongalo Pongal! It is later served to the people present in the house for the ceremony. People also prepare savories and sweets such as vadai, murukku, payasam and visit each other and exchange greetings.

We shift to the new house on Middle of November . . . front of the house we have a balcony . . . First day in our new rented house at about 6 o clock in the morning we have a unusual visitors came for their usual breakfast so we gave rice . . .

A SMALL DRINK

cost me a big price in my life . . . .

Still I remember it, as if it were yesterday, the day my life was gone in dark. . . . the voice of my love begging me to slow down . . . will hunt me till the day I die.

I promised her that I’d never let anything happen to her but I broke that promise. Riya and I were good friends, but secretly I loved her so much but I didn’t express my love to her. We had been friends since the day we were born, same day, same hospital but 3 hours apart making me elder. Our Parents had been old friends from school.

On that fateful day with very difficulty I got the permission from her parents to take her to the party with me. When we reached the party place she was very nervous because she had never been to a party like that before. So I took her held and gently took her inside the house.

We met some of our friends and had a chat. One of my friends offered me a beer but Riya told me not to drink but I told her I would only have one. So she let me have it, but that one turned into two then three. . . . . .

When we were dancing I started to get dizzy, which Riya Noticed.

“Manoj I think you’ve had enough drink” she said removing the bottle. “I’m going to call Hari so he can pick us “

“Don’t bother your brother Riya . I’ll be fine. ” When I said fine I felt a little queasy but I didn’t let Riya know that, lest she will get upset, but there I made a big mistake”

“No Manoj I’ll call Hari,” she took her mobile but I grabbed her mobile

“I’m fine Riya. With that word I headed to the car and got in Riya came and got in too still she insisted on calling her brother to pick us. She tried to grab the car key from me but failed & I started the car & rove off in high speed..

“ Manoj ! Pull over the car. We’ll call Hari , He will come & pick us”

“No it’s ok. I’m Fine”.

“Please Manoj! We’re going very fast, slow it down”

“I can handle it, you know I never do anything to hurt you.”

“Manoj! Please stop I’m Scared” she was about to cry

“ I promise I won’t let anything happen to you. “

Manoj ! Watch o. . u. . .t . . . . .

I turned my attention to the road when I saw the lorry slam in to mine. My left leg got stuck Riya didn’t wear a seat belt, so she was thrown off the seat. Her head hit and smashed the window of her door that only I saw . . . .

When I woke up I was in hospital bed with bandage . . . . my left leg fully bandaged my father sitting next to my bed. . . .

“ Riya” I yelled

“Thank God . . . . Son you scared us, I will call the doctor.”

Father ran outside the room to call the doctor.

A Doctor and Nurse came running in after my parents and checked me

“Where is Riya? . . .”

No one answered

“Where is Riya? I want see her . . . If she is ok? . . . .”

My father came and told me “calm down, son . . . every thing will be fine my son.”

“I want to see her now father”

At that time Riya’s Parents Entered the room, instead of yelling or hitting me, her mother came and hugged me tightly. Father also did the same. . . . told me she was no more with us. . and she died on the spot. . . .

“What? No . . . She can’t leave me alone”

I Screamed and cried and cried and cried . . . until now.

I took treatment for six months, my parents and Riya’s Parents supported me to come back in to my life. I can’t walk now because my leg’s bone is fully damaged so now I’m moving in a wheelchair with my memories of my Riya.

I lost her forever; she was gone and would never come back. All my friends and relations would never mention Riya’s around me; they are scared I might do something silly if they mention her name. Today it’s almost 3 years since her death. So I lay here on my bed, tears rolling down my cheeks while looking at the picture of Riya.

A SMALL DRINK COST ME A BIG PRICE IN MY LIFE . . . .

Mother

Its very pleasant evening, roads are heavily traffic, most of the people are going outside of the city to spend the long weekend, Raj left the office and he don’t have any plans after that except to send flowers and a Present to his mother for Mothers Day who is living in Village. He is working in a city and his busy schedule kept him from going to see his mother. This time also he can’t go & see her because he has other business plans, So he is going to send the Greeting Flowers & Present.

He drive the car to the book store usually where he is buying and went inside, checked all the books he couldn’t think what kind of the book he would buy for mom, he walked round the book store once again finally he saw that , and smile came on his face, he took that it Word Search Puzzle Book. He knows She love the puzzle book more than anything because he remember his small days she is doing every day on her free time. So he bought Five books, asked the sales person to wrap it with a mother’s day Wrapping Paper.

Raj stopped at the flower shop to order some flower to mom, as he got out of the car he noticed a young girl standing and sobbing. She is about 6 years of age and long black hair put a pony tail, wearing faded jeans and shirt.

He asked her “What’s happened?

she looks at him and look down . . .

Why are you crying? Where’s your mom? “

She look at him, and keep sobbing . . . . He asked the question again

This time She Reply “ I want to buy a red rose for my mother for mothers day But I have only Twenty Five rupees and rose cost fifty Rupees and I came alone “

Raj Smiled back and said “I also came to buy a flower to my mom, Come on with me I’ll buy you a rose”

He bought the little girl her rose and he order his own mothers flowers and gave mom house address to send the flowers.

As they leaving Raj offered the girl a ride home. First she refused the offer Raj don’t like to leave her there because it’s very lonely road at that time, she also thought about that and she got in the car.

“You can take me to my mother” She direct him the way. It’s headed to the cemetery.

Stop the car in the front gate of the Cemetery she get down from the car and went inside.

Raj followed her. She kneel in front of the freshly dug grave and place the rose. With out turning

“Mom died last month in a motor accident. Now I’m living with my sister in the next road I really miss my mother so much”

From Cemetery Raj drop the girl in her house and went back to the flower shop cancel the sending order and picked the flowers and drove the car in the direction of mother’s house and thinking about mom and how he missed her so much all these day.

The Morning

Its very pleasant Morning Akash was jogging; it’s his usual root of starting the freshly day, today when he jog, he hunted by the face of the women, He had never seen women so lovely. It was a face that would easily hunt one for a life time. Thick shiny black hair knotted on top of her head and wore a pink colour of Nike Track kit its suit’s her for a fair complexion. Enormous big eyes and gently curving mouth filled in the beautiful face, but there ware something unusual about her that’d make him want to see more. He stopped jogging and stood there staring at her, she is coming close and unable to look away. It’s been the oddest feeling he could remember, who was she? She is new to here. Her appearance seems to touch him. When she comes close to him, their eyes meet instantly, he felt as though every ounce of his body being reached out to the unknown beauty‘s with that big eyes but one other thing in that eyes that seemed to be filled with immeasurable sorrow on that moment he felt to send off the sorrow from the eyes. He found stand still their, then feeling foolish, he remind himself that she was a beautiful stranger then turn and continue his jogging.

When he went to his normal routine life but still he remember that beautiful face, front of his office table he closed his eyes and dreaming of that beautiful Stranger and then feeling foolish, he laugh softly and brushing her from his thoughts and continue his work.

Lovely evening sunlight flood into the room through window its was a nice light purple newly painted tidy little room, front of the window there was a table with a laptop and papers and two three book opened one lay on there, moved little right there was a half drawn painting on the stand, other side of the room there was a book shelf and next to that cloth cupboard and the fancy sitting chairs also capture on the room. Owner of the room, she is sitting one of the fancy chairs and keeping the book but her mind is in a past.

She is Sonya, today before she shifted to this home with their parents, every morning she want to go for walk other wise she can’t continue the day,

Next morning both meet aging Raj about to talk but on that time he gone dump she look at him and passed aging like yesterday. . .

At office he can’t concentrate on his work properly that beautiful face comes and disturb him so much so he left the office early and went to beach for the walk . There are lots of noise, wind and lovely scenery made his to refresh the mind, he’s walk on the beach and suddenly stop. He can’t believe his eyes because he is image or really what is he looking, because little far from him she is sitting and doing sketching the beach scene.

Very slowly he went near to him and says

“Hi”

She got shocked and looked at him relive and smile to him said

“Hi” and continued her work. He stand their and watched

“I’m Akash”

“I’m Sonya, Nice to me you” she continued her sketching

He feel little insulted and he left from there, why she is ignoring me, and insulting me, he went little more walk and saw the sunset and came back the way he walk, his eye search her where she sat before 30 min, she is not there she is gone. . .

After 20mins she lift her eyes from her sketch book and ready to go. On that time she search him on the crowed but no where to see and she left. In her though

“Why god you choose to play with my life”

On Saturday evening Akash went to buy a gift for his friend’s daughter’s birthday on the way he saw Sonya, going inside the flower shop, so he stop the car because he like to see her again so he wait in the car until she come back. After 10 minutes she came back with Red Roses, get in the car and drive away, he also drive behind her. She drive about 15 minutes, and stop the car, he also stop his car 100 meters away and watch her what she is doing.

Sonya Stood the moment by the side of the gate and looking and listen the surrounding, finally she steps out of the car and went around to the passenger door and opened it. She took the Red Roses out of the car seat and closed the door with her knee.

Carrying the bough and pushed through the gate that let into the cemetery adjoining the church. Her steps carried her down the path until she came to the corner; there for a while she stood staring at one head stone. Engraved upon the dark stone name Michel Below the date 1975 – 2003

He died four years ago, time is running very fast. It’s seems only yesterday that you were with me. Sonya sat on her knees, place the flower on it. She was a lost in her past; He had been for too young to die her heart felt with an ache what she had 4 years before, tears rolled from the eyes. She steadied her self and stood and turned away from his grave and walked back to the car. She got in to the car and settles herself comfortable for the drive. She left

She doesn’t have a chance to know that Akash follow her from the flower shop and watch her from the beginning

Akash got shock first and finally he understood why she ignored him from the beginning, because she was a Widow. On that moment he decided she will be his life partner. He thought to talk about this with his parents today ask his parents to talk with there parents and he start his car and ride off from the place .

Just few years ago I met a little angel Priya in the Batticolo refugee camp hospital; she is a one and only child for the family, now she lost her dearest loving parents in the air ride. Now she is orphan. That little one, only 1 ½ year old, didn’t know about it and was playing happily.

With out missing a day I visit her, play with her for a little while and go home after my work

Little angel Priya was a little weaker in her health often getting sick when they found her, Doctor’s big challenge was to make her healthy. Now she is very healthy and lively, and pet for all the people who are in the Refuge Camp Hospital workers and Patients.

Finally NGO decide to find parents for her to give some loving care & protection. So they started searching for parents who wanted to adopt the orphan little girl. They took really 4 months to find a good couple for her. Finally they found a nice young couple from New Zealand , they don’t have any children and they can’t have any one in the future. NGO Management Decided to give the child to them.

Finally Little Priya got nice Parents, All are happy but little worried she would leave us. Finally the day came for her to bid farewell. The young Couple came to Sri Lanka and they weren’t allowed to get to the War Zone by the Embassy, so they stayed in the City. The NGO Person has to take Little Priya with her to the head office – Colombo and they will hand over to her new parents with all the documentation.

At last the day came, it’s 8am. Priya and lady staff were to leave for Colombo in our vehicle, All staff and patients came to bid farewell to her. She is really like a little angel she wearing a pink frilly frock. So every one hugged her and said bye to her and we waved our hands until the vehicle got faded from our eye sight. Finally all went to do their job with a memory of Priya.

At about 10am we heard about the Blast on the surround area and our NGO team went to see the incident place, I am the Photographer of the team. When we got close to the incident place I got the knots in my stomach . . . and I started to pray it’s not happen what I’m see front of me. . . That is our NGO Vehicle and one army Vehicle got Blasted and army person trying to stop fire. All died on the spot I don’t like to go near . . . but I have to do my duty. . . I couldn’t find a sign of priya or others our staff all got burned. With a heavy heart we finished our duty and came back to our office informed the incident to the Head Office.

I hope little angel Priya Happily Living with her Mom & Dad in heaven with out any worries.

Who is The REAL Hero?

Who is The REAL Hero? This is a very serious subject, which is taken too lightly in our society. The admiration and sickness we have for superstar, athletes and actors, which we don't share with the other more important people in our life, those around us.

A child may consider a parent a hero, teenager may consider a one of the entertain superstar as a hero, depends on people, according to me under certain situation we all have probable a hero, when a person who does the right thing at the right time.

A real hero is someone who is dedicated to risk their lives just to save another. No matter how big or small. Example Fire fighters, Military, etc. Real and hidden heroes are the people who built this world the construction workers and the farmers who produce the food for us.

We can’t consider human as a Hero only, some time animal also be a real hero in depend on time, example the police dog got a hero award on 9/11, because he save lot of human’s life who buried in the world trade center attack on 9/11 and lost his life. And other example the first dog travel through the space before the human, still we are taking about him,

So i guess everybody is a hero, People who do something for others without thinking much about their selves.

Navratri
Navratri is celebrated in a large number of Hindu worldwide. The mother goddess is said to appear in 9 forms, and each one is worshipped for a day. These nine forms signify various personalities that the goddess influences us with. The Devi Mahatmya and other texts invoking the Goddess who vanquished demons are cited.

The word Navaratri literally means nine nights in Sanskrit
Nava meaning - Nine
Ratri meaning - Nights.

During these nine nights and ten days, nine forms of Shakti/Devi i.e. female divinity are worshipped.

First three days – DURGA (Goddess of valor)
The goddess is invoked as a spiritual force called Durga also known as kali in order to destroy all our impurities and other things.

Second three days – LAKSHMI (Goddess of Wealth)
The Mother is adored as a giver of spiritual wealth, Lakshmi, who is considered to have the power of bestowing on her devotees inexhaustible wealth. She is the goddess of wealth.

Final three days – SARASWATI (Goddess of knowledge and art). The final set of three days is spent in worshipping the goddess of wisdom, Saraswati. In order to have all-round success in life, believers seek the blessings of all three aspects of the divine femininity, hence the nine nights of worship.

The 9th day is Ayudha Pooja when everyone gives their tools of the trade -- pens, machinery, books, automobiles, school work, etc. a rest and ritually worships them. The tenth day, also known as Vijaya Dasami (day of Victory over evils), is significant to launch new activities or beginning of learning. Many teachers/Schools start teaching Kindergarten children from that day onwards.

I like this because its both history but its also so emotional. It’s a kind of like a Cinderella story. I saw the Movie – Never as Detailed as a Book but I like the Visuals
